Youth Symphony
The Youth Symphony (EPYS), conducted by Mr. Jose Rios, is an intermediate, full orchestra where students play standard classic literature to expand their musical repertoire and perform in a number of concert experiences.
The Youth Symphony (EPYS) is for students:
11 to 18 Years of Age
(6th graders – 12th graders)
Though the majority of students fit into these age groups, upon request, exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Music Director, in consultation with the conductors.
Program Information
Tuition: $480
*tuition rates are subject to change
Rehearsals: Sundays, 1:00pm to 3:30pm
Rehearsal for the Fall and Spring semesters do vary at certain times but will remain consistent.
Financial Assistance
No qualifying student will be turned away from the EPSYO because of an inability to pay tuition. The EPSYO fundraises to provide tuition payment financial aid for musicians whose families demonstrate exceptional need.
Please note that it is mandatory for students receiving financial assistance to participate in fundraisers.
