Youth String Philharmonic
The Youth String Philharmonic (EPYSP), conducted by Mr. Rodrigo Maldonado, introduces beginning – intermediate string players to the orchestra experience, encouraging responsibility and practice along the way, all while helping instill a love for orchestral play.
The Youth String Philharmonic (EPYSP) is for students:
7 to 14 Years of Age
(typically elementary and middle school students)
Though the majority of students fit into these age groups, upon request, exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Music Director, in consultation with the conductors.
Program Information
Tuition: $430
*tuition rates are subject to change
Rehearsals: Sundays, 1:00pm to 3:00pm
Rehearsal for the Fall and Spring semesters do vary at certain times but will remain consistent.
Financial Assistance
No qualifying student will be turned away from the EPSYO because of an inability to pay tuition. The EPSYO fundraises to provide tuition payment financial aid for musicians whose families demonstrate exceptional need.
Please note that it is mandatory for students receiving financial assistance to participate in fundraisers.
